Men’s training starts Tuesday 3rd September 2024 7.00pm – 8.30pm. Ladies training starts Thursday 5th September 7.00pm – 8.30pm (Fitness 5th & 12th!). Everybody welcome – come along and join in!

Nottingham Players Hockey Club located just outside the city of Nottingham has 3 adult Men’s and 2 adult Ladies teams that play in a range of competitive leagues across the Midlands. Additional to this we have a mixed team that is particularly active in summer tournaments. Supplementing the Adult sections is a strong junior section that prepares young hockey players for the adult leagues.
League games are typically on Saturdays (Sundays if rearranged for weather etc.) running October to early December and January to March. Training is held on Tuesday (Mens) and Thursday (Ladies) evenings at the Nottingham Hockey Centre, our home ground.
The Nottingham Hockey Centre has two international standard water based pitches, one and a half sand based pitches, and two new blue Tiger Turf pitches. We also have onsite changing, hot refreshments, and an upstairs bar with balconies overlooking the pitches, and free parking.
The club provides a good standard of hockey for all ages with an active hockey and social programme throughout the whole year and is always looking for new players and provides a lot of hockey for a fair price.
